With the release of the game just under a week away, the build-up to Madden 23 is insane and the addition of a popular dance in every major sports game just proves that Madden 23 will be epic.
The biggest athletes have been doing the Griddy after their touchdowns. Justin Jefferson and Ja’Marr Chase are some of the athletes that are known to do the celebratory move.
If you’re looking for a piece to help you find out how to do the popular dance, we’ve got you covered. Scroll down to see how to do the Griddy.
Can you do the Griddy in Madden 23?
In the NFL and among all football players, the griddy has grown in popularity as a celebratory dance.
Many players from other teams have started joining Justin Jefferson and his Viking colleagues in the celebration of touchdowns.
According to a tweet by @EAMaddenNFL, The Griddy will be available in the game. However, we are a bit unsure which controls will be used to hit it.
Now, The Griddy is a signature celebration in EA Sports and we are guessing the controls will be the same on Madden 23 as they are on FIFA 23. We are also not entirely sure that every player on Madden 23 will be able to hit The Griddy or that it will be for certain players.
Predicting how to do the Griddy in Madden 23
On FIFA 23, you can do The Griddy by; holding R2 and flicking RS Up twice. It looks like the controls will be the same, from what we have seen on a post shared by @EASPORTSFIFA on Twitter.
Madden 23 will be officially released on Friday, 19th August 2022, on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series, and PC. Madden 23 will also be available on mobile and will be released on Thursday, 18th August 2022. The version will be available for download on both iOS and Android. The mobile version will come out before the release of the standard.
