WWE 2K23 has been officially confirmed so there is now plenty of speculation over which new wrestlers could feature on the roster, including the likes of Cody Rhodes and Bron Breakker, who were missing from WWE 2K22.
The world of WWE is consistently changing, with a ton of Superstars returning following their releases last year/earlier this year, including Dexter Lumis, Dakota Kai, Karrion Kross and Scarlett.
One example would be Cody Rhodes coming into WWE from AEW back during WrestleMania season, but due to the timing of the roster being finalised, he wasn't able to be added to the core roster of 2K22.
As a result, the only way you can play as Cody in 2K22 is to download his model from Community Creations or try to make him yourself.

He’s back in WWE and will likely have one of the biggest ratings in the new game.
It’s an absolute lock that he’ll be in WWE 2K23.
Bray Wyatt

The White Rabbit teases finally paid off as Bray made a shock return to the WWE Universe.
Along with Cody, this is one of the most headline-grabbing returns we've seen in years.
Bray is inevitably going to be in WWE 2K23.
Anderson and Gallows
Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson are now back in WWE
They're back with a vengeance.
Gallows and Anderson are one of the most decorated tag teams in recent WWE.
As they're back, they're almost inevitably going to be in the game.
Solo Sikoa
Solo Sikoa is now officially part of WWE's main roster
A previous NXT standout, Solo has been shining in the Bloodline.
A key part of the group alongside Roman Reigns, the Usos, and Sami Zayn, he looks primed for a monster push.
Expect to see him in WWE 2K23.
Bron Breakker
Bron is one of the biggest stars in NXT and has been NXT Champion.
He looks primed for a big push when he eventually hits the main roster, and he’s got everything required to be a major star.
It would be a huge shock for him not to be in 2K23.
