When it comes to professional footballers currently aged 21 or younger, there are two who stand head and shoulders above the rest.
Manchester City striker Erling Braut Haaland and Real Madrid flyer Vinicius Junior are already two of the best players in the world, despite the fact they're only just old enough to buy a beer in the United States of America.
Haaland has scored goals for fun over the past two-and-a-half years, while Vinicius enjoyed a spectacular 2021/22 campaign.
The Brazil international scored 22 goals and notched 20 assists across all competitions. He also bagged Real Madrid's winner in the Champions League final against Liverpool.
Yeah, Haaland and Vinicius are pretty special, so it will come as no shock to learn that they're comfortably the two highest-paid footballers who're 21 or younger.
But the duo aren't the only players in the age bracket pocketing six figures each week.
Barcelona starlets Ansu Fati and Pedri are earning some serious dough, as are Bayern Munich pair Alphonso Davies and Ryan Gravenberch.

Vinicius' Real Madrid teammates Eduardo Camavinga and Rodrygo Goes certainly aren't doing bad financially either.
So what are they actually all earning? Well, below you'll find a list containing the 15 highest-paid U21 players and their individual salaries, with all the data sourced from the marvellous Capology website.
Amazingly, Chelsea's Carney Chukwuemeka takes 12th spot after completing his surprise move from Aston Villa this summer...

So, Haaland takes top spot by a considerable distance and he's actually the third-highest paid player in the Premier League, behind only teammate Kevin De Bruyne and Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo.
Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern each have three players apiece on the 15-man list, while Ligue 1 and Serie A both don't have a single representative.
Given how much money Paris Saint-Germain are throwing at players these days, that's a bit of a shock.
