Twitch Rivals x Riot Games' Summer Rumble: Date, schedule, and more

Twitch Rivals x Riot Games' Summer Rumble

The Twitch Rivals x Riot Games Summer Rumble is back for a second time. 150 creators, ten teams, three games, and one Rumble.

Ten all-creator teams from different nations will compete in enjoyable tournaments in the video games VALORANT, League of Legends, and Teamfight Tactics.

These EMEA-wide creation teams will compete against one another for regional pride and the potential to establish their region as the best across all three Riot games.

To defeat their opponents across the three games, teams will need to Headshot, Skillshot, and perhaps roll a few lucky dice.

Could #TeamPolska beat #TeamItalia or will #TeamItalia have the strength to win? Perhaps #TeamNordics or #TeamEspaña will completely destroy the rest of the roster?

The event’s complete schedule as well as everything you need to know can be found below.

Date and time

The Twitch Rivals x Riot Games’ Summer Rumble will begin Monday, 22nd August from 15:00 pm CEST / 14:00 BST, and will run till Wednesday, 24th August, 2022.

Rumble Points are awarded to each side based on how they place at the end of each game. The team with the most Rumble Points will be crowned the 2022 Summer Rumble Champion after the third and final day of the competition. Each game contributes towards choosing the ultimate winner because teams can earn Rumble Points down to 10th place!

The VALORANT and League of Legends competitions use a double-round robin format on days one and two. The teams will be divided into two groups of five and play a round of BO1 matches every day until they have faced every team in their group twice.

In a twist from the previous season, the groups’ eliminated clubs will play one another in a non-conference encounter. The results of non-conference games will be taken into account in the event of a tie, although this will not affect their final group standing.

The four top-scoring teams will advance to the Finals Bracket (Top 4) at the end of Day 2, while the remaining six teams will be sent to the Placement Bracket. The Finals Bracket (Top 4) will be a high-stakes contest to determine the squad that performs the best in each game and earns the most Rumble Points.

Teams in the Placement Bracket will battle in the meantime to determine the final rankings from fifth to tenth place and earn some consolation Rumble Points to boost their nation’s overall tally.

The rivalry for TFT will resemble a little differently. Players will compete on day one for Rating Points based on where they place in five revolving lobbies. Two players from each squad will be present in each lobby, which is likely to produce some fascinating dynamics!

The Rating Points that each player on each side has accumulated will be tallied after Day One. The Top 4 Finals Bracket will consist of the top four teams, with the bottom six teams moving to the Placement Bracket, based on Rating Points.

On day two, points will be reset and the Top 4 teams in the Finals Bracket will fight against one another. Players will once again receive points for their finishes across many games. The final standings from first to fourth will be calculated by adding the Rating Points earned by each participant.

Similar rules will apply in the Placement Bracket to determine the positions from fifth to tenth, offering national teams a chance to earn some possibly significant consolation Rumble Points.
