Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign the likes of Alvaro Morata, Mauro Icardi and Sasa Kalajdzic, according to Fabrizio Romano.

It comes after the Red Devils pulled out of a deal to buy Bologna's Marko Arnautovic, with Romano claiming that they are still in the market for a new striker.

What is the latest news involving Morata, Icardi and Kalajdzic?

United have been linked with Morata, Icardi and Kalajdzic in recent weeks as Erik ten Hag looks to add a centre-forward to his squad. Combined, the trio have a CIES Football Observatory valuation of just £45m.

Earlier this month, The Athletic revealed that United had held talks over signing Morata, who has returned to Atletico Madrid after a loan spell with Juventus last season.

Since then, Get French Football News has claimed that the Manchester club have made an informal enquiry about Paris Saint-Germain's Icardi.

Finally, a report from Sky Sports states that Kalajdzic is also of interest to United, with the 25-year-old entering the final year of his contract at Stuttgart.

What has Romano said about, Morata, Icardi, Kalajdzic and United?

Romano has told GIVEMESPORT that United have been offered Morata, Icardi and Kalajdzic, who have scored 347 senior goals combined.

Speaking to GMS, the transfer expert said: "All of these players have been offered to Man United, and I think it's normal for agents to work like this. They wanted Marko Arnautovic, then the deal collapsed, so now they are in the market for a striker - but at the moment, still nothing decided."

Have United been linked with any other strikers?

Barcelona's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is another No.9 who has been linked with a move to Old Trafford.

As per the MailOnline, United have held talks with Barcelona and Aubameyang about a transfer this summer. However, according to the same outlet, if the 33-year-old is to leave the Spotify Camp Nou before September's deadline, he would prefer a switch to Chelsea.

The Blues are also keen on Aubameyang as Thomas Tuchel looks to improve his own forward line.

Tuchel, of course, worked with the former Arsenal captain at Borussia Dortmund, while Chelsea are currently in the Champions League, so they clearly have an advantage over United, who will be playing in the Europa League this term.

While things ended on a sour note at the Emirates, with Aubameyang losing the Arsenal captaincy before moving to Barcelona, his time in England can only be described as a success. He scored 92 goals for the Gunners and won the FA Cup back in the 2019/20 season.

All in all, the former Gabon international may just be out of United's reach at this moment in time, so Ten Hag will probably have to settle for one of Morata, Icardi or Kalajdzic instead.
