Barcelona have teamed up with LEGO to release an insane set made up of over 5000 pieces.Crammed full of details, the Camp Nou set follows on from LEGO's previous exploits with football stadia, having released an Old Trafford model back in 2020.But while Manchester United's set was released to honour the iconic stadium's 110th anniversary, LEGO have put the Camp Nou out there for all Barcelona enthusiasts, just because they can.

How much is the Camp Nou LEGO set?

The set is currently listed on LEGO's official store, and with a whopping discount attached, too.

Initially on sale for $349.99, LEGO has slashed the price, which now sits at $209.99. It's not for everyone, but it certainly is a unique gift and a collector's item for a Barcelona or stadium enthusiast, while official LEGO sets have tended to always come at a premium.

Included in the incredible set is plenty of detail to add to the authenticity. The website listing states that elements such as the players' tunnel, VIP section and even the press section are included in the set, as is the Barcelona team bus and details such as stadium flags and banners, scoreboards and of course the 'Mes Que Un Club' slogan within the seating.

Sure, a LEGO set isn't for everyone. But, Barcelona fan or not, you've got to admit that it looks pretty cool. And to have something like this on display would be even better - it's a unique piece of decoration, that's for sure.

For fans of the club or general admirers of football's most iconic grounds, it's the ideal gift and we commend LEGO for allowing us football fans to feel like kids once again by producing such a unique set, that we'd all have loved in our football mad adolescence.

Barcelona's real life issues

Barcelona's fortunes on the real life pitch haven't been quite as spectacular in recent years.

The club is burdened by issues of severe financial turmoil and have regularly flirted with the prospect of bankruptcy. The situation got so bad that Lionel Messi was unable to re-sign for the club in 2021, and had to leave upon the expiry of his contract.

Several economic levers have been activated throughout the summer in order to allow La Blaugrana to bolster the squad with new signings and register them despite their financial restraints, which has confused onlooking football fans as they continue to invest in the squad heavily.

Franck Kessie, Robert Lewandowski, Andreas Christensen, Raphinha and Jules Kounde have all signed for the club this summer, while Ousmane Dembele has also signed a contract extension.

While there is uncertainty over Barcelona's fortunes and progress on the pitch and whether or not Xavi can turn it around as manager of the club, one thing is for certain away from it - the LEGO Camp Nou set is seriously good stuff and a must-have for plenty of football fans.
