FIFA 23 is set to release on September 30, 2022 and is one of the most widely anticipated games of the year.

As a result, we’ve taken a look at five teams who could thrive in the new game after the transfer window.

Of course, we’re not going to be including a team like Manchester United, who have had a disastrous transfer window, or Leicester City, who, to date, have only signed one goalkeeper this summer.

However, we have had a close look at which teams look primed to be picked the most in Seasons, and in Career Mode.

Let’s get right into it.

Five Teams Who Could Dominate FIFA 23

Barcelona

They might be absolutely skint, but Barcelona have got an absolutely exceptional set of players.

They’ve added the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha and Jules Kounde to a side that already boasts plenty of pace and skill.

They’re going to have speed all over the pitch and plenty of players with flair traits.

They’re going to be a popular pick.

Manchester City

Erling Haaland.

Do we need to say more?

Oh, okay, we do. Well, adding Haaland to a team that already looks pretty flawless is a bit unfair on the rest of the division.

Haaland is an absolute freak on FIFA and will be rampaging through defences in the latest instalment.

Expect to see City picked regularly!

Bayern Munich

They’ve got a truly scary squad.

Bayern have added the lightning pace of Sadio Mane, plus centre-back Matthijs de Ligt and both Ryan Gravenberch and Noussair Mazraoui to an already stacked selection of players.

Gravenberch and Mazraoui developed into world-beaters on FIFA 22; expect them to do the same on FIFA 23.

They’re going to be a popular pick!

AC Milan

Their big signing this summer has been Charles De Ketelaere from Club Brugge and he is an absolute freak on FIFA.

Not only does he boast fantastic skills, but he’s also quick, tall, and strong, so the power shot mechanic looks absolutely primed for abuse from the big Belgian.

They’ve also added Divock Origi and Alessandro Florenzi to their squad; we can see more than a few FIFA 23 players picking Milan in Seasons!

PSG

Kylian Mbappe included Lionel Messi and Neymar in his greatest ever XI

Yeah, it’s PSG, so we have to mention them!

They’ve retained Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Lionel Messi, and added the likes of Vitinha, Renato Sanchez and wunderkind striker Hugo Ekitike to their ranks.

We’d have picked them here even if they didn’t sign anyone, because keeping the star trio was so important.

Plenty of noobs are going to be picking PSG right out of the gate!
