Arsenal: Eddie Nketiah savaged Lokonga for complaining about playing time

Eddie Nketiah went full savage after Lokonga complained to him about playing time at Arsenal

The first half of the 2021/22 season was frustrating for Eddie Nketiah.

The Englishman found opportunities hard to come by at Arsenal in the opening months of the season.

After a handful of appearances in domestic cups, Nketiah finally made his first outing in the Premier League in December, coming on as a late substitute against Manchester United.

Nketiah was rewarded for staying patient as he ended the campaign on fire, scoring five times in Arsenal’s last seven games.

His late season form saw him handed a brand new contract in the summer worth £100,000-per-week.

Nketiah was ecstatic when he extended his spell at his boyhood club.

However, he wasn’t always pleased with how things were going for him at Arsenal.

And his frustration in the early months of the 2021/22 season has been shown in Amazon Prime’s All or Nothing documentary.

In a new episode, Nketiah can be seen absolutely rinsing Albert Sambi Lokonga for complaining about his playing time.

Nketiah did not hold back and you can watch him savage his Belgian teammate below…

“You’ve changed a lot since you come, no? You’ve changed quick, huh?” Nketiah asks Lokonga while they were eating in the canteen.

He adds: “This guy before was smiling…”

Lonkonga then replies: “I was playing…”

That’s when Nketiah snapped. He retorted: “So what my friend? You think you are the f****** only one not playing my friend huh? Stop feeling sorry for yourself and f****** wake up.”

Wow. Fair to say Nketiah wasn’t best pleased after hearing his teammate’s complaint about his lack of playing time.

As brutal as his comments were, it’s still a good mentality from Nketiah to adopt.

Arsenal have started the 2022/23 season well, but Nketiah may not be entirely pleased with his playing time once again.
