Jurgen Klopp was absolutely fuming with a late pitch invader during Liverpool's 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace on Monday.

The Reds drew their second consecutive match this season following the tie at Anfield.

Klopp's side found themselves 1-0 down in the first half thanks to Wilfried Zaha's breakaway goal.

And Liverpool's chances of victory appeared to have ended when Darwin Nunez planted a headbutt on Palace defender Joachim Andersen in the 57th minute.

However, within minutes Liverpool were level as Luis Diaz fashioned a sensational equaliser out of nowhere.

For the remaining half an hour, the home side piled forward looking for a winner.

They huffed and they puffed but, as the match entered injury time, they still hadn't found a winner.

And just as they prepared their final attack of the match during the four minutes of injury-time, a Liverpool fan invaded the pitch and the match had to be halted. It killed any momentum Liverpool were trying to build and was met by boos inside Anfield.

But you may not have seen the reaction from Liverpool boss, Klopp.

Footage has emerged of him going absolutely mental at the fan in question, knowing that he'd just cost his side the chance of one last attack.

talkSPORT commentator, Sam Matterface explained why Klopp was so angry while covering the match.

“There’s an idiot on the pitch,” talkSPORT’s co-commentator for the match Matterface said.

“The referee now has to stop the game and that idiot is now being barracked by Jurgen Klopp.

“He is being shouted at and screamed at by the German manager, because he has just cost his team the chance of fashioning an attack in the last few seconds of a Premier League game that they are not going to win now.”

Liverpool will look to pick up their first win of the campaign as they travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United on Monday night.

United themselves have lost both of their opening two matches and both clubs will be desperate to beat their rivals and really kick start their 2022/23 campaign.
