Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez and Manchester United’s Christian Eriksen are getting new cards in FIFA 22, according to a new leak from the noted insider FUT Sheriff.

They are set to come as part of a Showdown SBC, which will reward players with a choice between the two if they complete the challenge.

Of course, both players made big-money moves in the summer transfer window, with Nunez moving to Anfield from Benfica and Eriksen making a free transfer move to United after leaving Brentford.

The two sides are set to clash on Monday in a game that could mark something of a turning point for both clubs.

Amazingly, neither have won a game this season; Liverpool have drawn both Fulham and Crystal Palace, while United have been beaten by Brighton & Hove Albion and Brentford.

However, both cards are getting big upgrades, according to FUT Sheriff.

Eriksen could get a huge boost to a 95, along with Nunez, making these two cards incredibly usable for most players with a Premier League team.

Sheriff has predicted the stats of the pair, with Eriksen seemingly becoming one of the best midfielders in the league.

He could have 93 pace and shooting, 97 passing, 95 dribbling, 84 physical and 66 defending.

Nunez, by comparison, could get a bump up to 95 with 99 pace and physical, 94 dribbling and shooting, 90 passing and 57 defending.

Eriksen’s base card has an 82 rating, and he has only received one special card throughout the game’s lifespan, getting a boost to 93 during the FUT Fantasy Upgrade promo.

Nunez has a base card that has a 76 rating and has received a variety of upgrades throughout the game; he has had in-form cards with an 81 rating and an 84 rating, while he also has an 87-rated Future Stars card and a 94-rated Team of the Season card.

Ironically enough, the Uruguay international will not actually be playing in the game against United on Monday after receiving a red card on his Anfield debut against Palace, for headbutting Joachim Andersen.

These are two exceptional cards, though, with huge rating boosts from their base cards, and this promo is likely to go down well with fans of both clubs ahead of the huge fixture on Monday night!
