When it comes to WWE, the action isn't limited to inside the ring.

Liv Morgan and Shotzi have provided a perfect example of this with their recent sizzling Twitter feud.

The two found themselves locked in a war of words after Shotzi accused the SmackDown Women's Champion of faking her injury.

Morgan posted a photo of her holding the blue brand belt with one arm in a brace, along with a caption stating: "My arm may not be 100 per cent yet, but I’ll still be ready for ShAayNa [Baszler] at Clash at the Castle."

Liv is set to defend her Championship against Baszler at the upcoming pay-per-view in Cardiff, but it seems Shotzi is trying to ruffle her feathers before the big match.

The former NXT Breakout Star of the Year mocked her SmackDown peer and told her to "stop the act" of being injured.

Morgan laughed off Shotzi's attempt to make her look foolish and offered her an opportunity to meet inside the ring.

"Hahahahahaha Shotzi if you wanted to wrestle, all you had to do was ask silly," she wrote. "I think my arm may just be feeling good enough to kick your gorgeous goblin [a**]. I’ll see you tomorrow."

Shotzi fired back, claiming Morgan couldn't even beat her if she had "four arms and a tentacle." She then dropped the first savage shot of the night by adding a screenshot of a tongue cleaning product designed to "help cure bad breath."

Of course, Morgan had an immediate response and she upped the ante by replying with a picture of a book titled 'The Insecure Girl's Handbook.'

"What a thoughtful queen. I actually did some shopping for you too… ya know, for the next time you deactivate your Twitter," she wrote, referencing Shotzi's decision to take herself off Twitter following a barrage of comments from online trolls.

The tensions reached boiling point as Shotzi went in for a swipe at the jugular.

She accused Morgan of being the reason why her former WWE teammate and good friend Ruby Riott was released by the company.

"Is this what you read after you got Ruby fired? Look at @YaOnlyLivvOnce trying to collect green-haired tattooed girls to run over! Not me babe! I do the running over!"

Shotzi's tweet clearly touched a nerve for Liv, who tweeted a simple: "You're DONE" before posting a photo of Riott and her green-haired look.

"The superior green-haired tattooed girl," she wrote, throwing shade at Shotzi.

This isn't the first time a fellow wrestler has used the breakdown of The Riott Squad against Morgan.

During her feud with Becky Lynch, Big Time Becks made a comment about the departure of Morgan's friends and how she no longer had them to back her up.

Just like with Shotzi, Liv had an answer and blamed Lynch's contract on why WWE released Riott and Sarah Logan.

The savage back-and-forth between Morgan and Shotzi had thousands of fans engaging with the two Superstars' posts. With the next episode of Friday Night SmackDown just hours away, will the two women take their online feud into the ring?
