Ronda Rousey was 'arrested' during the opening segment for last night's episode of WWE SmackDown.

Back at SummerSlam on July 30, Ronda Rousey was suspended and fined by WWE following her SmackDown Women's Championship match with Liv Morgan.

After losing the match, Ronda attacked Morgan once again, before also laying her hands on the match's official, leading to her getting punished.

Ronda missed one week of WWE TV, before returning during last week's show, dumping all of her fine money in the ring in what was a well-received segment.

Ronda appeared on SmackDown last night again, attempting to get WWE Official Adam Pearce to reinstate her.

Pearce said that he couldn't do that, which led to Rousey attacking the security guards that Adam had brought out with him.

The segment was played up like WWE didn't know that Ronda was at the building beforehand, and to be fair, came across really quite well.

In what as a wild segment, Rousey actually broke the ar of one of the security guards, again just the latest attempt from WWE to make Ronda look like a bada**.

After attacking the security guards, Rousey was put into handcuffs by the police officers that Pearce had called, being placed in a waiting car before being taken away by the cops.

The segment and overall storyline is working very well for Rousey, with many fans getting behind her in ways that they weren't previously.

Rousey is being cheered now more than she has been at any point during her second run with WWE, which started at the Royal Rumble back in January 2022.

Ronda was brought in as a babyface, but many fans wanted to boo her after less-than-pleasant comments she made about WWE at the end of her first run.

However, with this latest storyline that WWE is running with, fans have organically started to get behind the 'Baddest Woman on the Planet'.

Liv Morgan has been a victim in this storyline, with the WWE Superstar unfortunately not as popular as she was before becoming SmackDown Women's Champion in July.

As noted, Rousey was actually suspended by WWE back at the beginning of August, which you can read more about by clicking here.
