FIFA 22 has a range of popular game modes, with the two dominant ones understandably Ultimate Team and Pro Clubs.

Ultimate Team allows you to build your ‘ultimate team’ with a range of special cards released throughout the year giving gamers different options and routes to go down with their dream squads.

The other major game mode is Pro Clubs. You create your own pro and play games in teams with your friends to develop your skills and improve your individual overall. The major draw of the game mode is going on that journey with your mates from low rated rookies to masters of the pitch.

Gamers dream of taking their team from Division 10 all the way to the holy land of Division One, however, Nathan Curtis has gone one better than that with his team.

Curtis and his friends have enjoyed an unprecedented 501 game unbeaten run in the game mode, with just the one draw. That’s 500 games of pro clubs and no losses.

Their squad of nine players have done ‘| Trap Vibes |’ proud and given the supporters plenty to cheer about over the course of the game cycle.

After such a run, retirement is on the cards for the team, with them gearing up for another crack at FIFA immortality on the next edition of the game.

It was a dominant spell for the squad, with the aggregate score for the 501 games 2067 – 220, meaning they scored 4.13 goals on average whilst only conceding 0.44 on average.

Speaking on the success, Curtis said: “It’s pretty crazy to be honest, we had a few other good records before but I never thought we would get close to 500-0.

“I’ve got around 500 hours played on pro clubs this FIFA but some of the people we play with have around 3000 hours played this FIFA.

“Our club is around 850th in the world ranking as it’s based on games played and wins and other clubs have thousands of wins but with draws and losses. In terms of player leaderboards our Any is 6th and our striker is 23rd, the rest of us are 1000th or higher in our respective positions.

“We obviously congratulate each other at every ‘milestone’ but I don’t think we’ve fully grasped how crazy our record is. Only a handful of teams can get 100-0+, let alone 500.”

For any of you still trying to get that coveted Division One title with your squads before the game comes to an end, you’re in luck, Curtis has broken down his tactics for you: “A lot of quick passing in combination with skill moves and green timing shots in attack.

“Defensively it's highly effective to have a CDM that plays the ‘sweeper’ role and sits behind the CBs to stop through balls, then having an Any and two CM’s to press. We used the 4-1-2-1-2(2) formation and play with either five or six players. CDM, CMs, CAM, ST [striker] and an Any who is also ST.”
