Anthony Joshua’s career took a massive hit on Saturday night when he lost for the second time to Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia after the judges deemed the fight a split decision victory in favour of the Ukrainian tactician.

It was the second time in as many fights that Joshua was completely outboxed, with many feeling another unanimous decision was fairer than that of a split decision, however, the bottom line is still the same.

The Brit failed to become a three time heavyweight world champion and is not titleless after losing three fights from his last four, with an undisputed fight on the horizon for Usyk, AJ has missed out on a majorly historic career path.

He still has time to get there, it will just take a lot of hard work to get a title shot and prove himself as the number one challenger in the division.

Infamously, Joshua went off the rails after the fight with the loss clearly hurting him as he knew how big a night it was for his career, he just wasn’t good enough to compete boxer to boxer for 12 rounds with Usyk.

There’s been plenty said about his tirade, and now new footage has been released, showing us the full picture, uncut.

After the defeat to Usyk was confirmed in the Rage on the Red Sea, he took two of the belts from the Ukrainian, throwing them out of the ring whilst shouting something that we can’t hear.

He then fights with his team as he wanted to go and do his own thing, finally, they stopped trying to prevent him from leaving the ring. When he did finally step out, he was met with boos and confronted the crowd.

Joshua then decided to return to the ring where he confronted Usyk after shaking his hand and then refused to listen to the Ukrainian’s response to his rant at him.

Then it just went from bad to worse as he grabbed a microphone to steal the moment and go on a major rant which will always be remembered, but for all the wrong reasons.

It all went downhill though when he barged into one of Usyk’s team members early on before all the carnage ensued from an overflowing of emotion form the Brit.

Since the fight, Joshua has released an emotional apology for his actions, acknowledging he was in the wrong for how he handled it.

He was hurting, so an over the top, unexplainable reaction is no surprise, he just wasn’t able to control himself like he wanted. The main thing is he apologised and can focus on himself ahead of fighting again later this year hopefully.
