A legendary campaign that cemented Jose Mourinho as 'The Special One' with his new-look Chelsea side dominating the Premier League, breaking records along the way.

Mourinho joined Chelsea after a very successful stint in Portugal with FC Porto, where he orchestrated one of the most remarkable achievements in winning the UEFA Cup and the UEFA Champions League in consecutive seasons.

Mourinho's 04/05 Chelsea side still holds the best defensive record in Premier League history, with his side only conceding 15 goals throughout the campaign.

The 04/05 campaign almost saw his Chelsea side become the second team to be invincible. However, matchday 9 saw The Blues lose to Manchester City 1-0.

The editions of Didier Drogba, Arjen Robben, Ricardo Carvalho, Paulo Ferreira and more transformed and completed the effect of the financial takeover quicker than expected, winning their first league title since 1954 and amassing a total of 95 points.

4) Liverpool FC 2018/19 - 97 points

The 2018/19 campaign saw Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool have one of the unluckiest campaigns of all time, as his side finished on 97 points and didn't lift the Premier League trophy.

Liverpool only lost one game in this campaign and even won 30 league matches, but they were edged to the title by a point from Manchester City.

To make matters just that bit more of a bitter pill to swallow, Manchester City were the side to stop Liverpool from going undefeated.

However, the positive Liverpool took from the 2018/19 season is that Jurgen Klopp's side lifted the UEFA Champions League after defeating Tottenham Hotspur 2-0.

3) Manchester City 2018/19 - 98 points

Manchester City finished one point ahead of Liverpool to lift the 2018/19 campaign, securing back-to-back league titles.

Pep Guardiola's side won 14 consecutive games to finish the season with 98 points. Also, City went on to win a history-making quadruple, which involved the FA Cup, EFL Cup and Community Shield, cementing the first domestic treble in English football history.

A pivotal point of the title-winning season came on matchday 37 when City hosted Leicester City at the Etihad Stadium.

Captain Vincent Kompany took matters into his own hands in the 70th minute of the game, firing in a thunderbolt from long range into the top corner, winning the game 1-0.

The 2019-20 season saw Liverpool finally lift the Premier League trophy, after carrying on from their fine form the season prior and one-upping it so that Liverpool had their first Premier League title during the Premier League era.

The title race wouldn't be as close this time around as Liverpool finished 18 points clear of Pep Guardiola's side in what was a dominant campaign.

Liverpool also lifted the UEFA SuperCup as well as the Club World Cup. The campaign saw Sadio Mane and Mohammed Salah score 37 goals between the two of them.

A tally of 99 points was finally enough to see the Merseyside club take the top title in English football.

The only team to record 100 Premier League points in a single campaign, Manchester City dominated the 2017/18 season, finishing 19 points above Manchester United.

City smashed multiple records in this campaign, recording the most wins, biggest goal difference, most away points, biggest winning margin and more along the way.

The campaign saw four players score more than ten goals and three record more than 15 assists in Kevin De Bruyne, Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane.

An astonishing tally and one that is likely to sit at number 1 on the top 5 highest Premier League points total in a season for some time!
