Peter Drury’s commentary at full-time of Manchester United’s shock 2-1 win over Liverpool has emerged - and it’s pure poetry.
Drury, widely regarded as one of the best football commentators if not *the* best, now works for NBC Sports after leaving Premier League Productions in the summer.
Sadly this means all those who used to enjoy Drury’s epic commentary on a weekly basis are now missing out, but their loss has been America’s gain.
Drury was at his poetic best on Monday night as United produced the most surprising performance of the season so far against Liverpool.
Very few people gave Man Utd a chance prior to the match after losing their opening two fixtures against Brighton and Brentford.
But Ten Hag made some big calls on the night, including dropping Cristiano Ronaldo and captain Harry Maguire, and his bravery was rewarded with three points.
Goals either side of half-time from Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford saw United climb out of the relegation zone, leapfrogging Liverpool in the process.

What did Peter Drury say at full-time of Man Utd 2-1 Liverpool?
Old Trafford was rocking for the first time in ages and Drury was on hand with the perfect words when referee Michael Oliver blew the full-time whistle.
“It’s coming. Erik, it is coming. The time has passed, 95 plus… one of the nights of his life,” Drury said in the closing seconds of the match.
“At last! At long, long last. Manchester United’s night. How they have thirsted for this. How long they have thirsted for this.
“The bitterest of enemies who have, of late, embarrassed and humiliated them, are beaten by them - and Old Trafford feels how Old Trafford should feel.

“Jadon Sancho’s splendid first-half goal, Marcus Rashford’s splendid strike in the second, a reminder of how he is at his spriteliest and hungriest.
“Mo Salah gave Liverpool last interest but Liverpool weren’t quite themselves and they are three games at the start of the season without a win.
“Klopp musters a smile but it is a weak smile. Erik ten Hag has his teeth into the job. Manchester United have their teeth into the season and nine days on from Brentford they were unrecognisable.
“This might be considered by United folk a transformational night. The night it all changed. The night they came to life. Manchester United two, Liverpool one.”
