Rangers have qualified for the group stage of the Champions League for the first time since 2010/11 after beating PSV Eindhoven 1-0 away from home.

The two sides played out a 2-2 thriller at Ibrox in the first leg, which set the second instalment of the tie up perfectly.

And it was last season's Europa League finalists Rangers who delivered on the night in Eindhoven, Antonio Colak's second half goal enough to secure a place in the club football's biggest competition.

Gio van Bronckhorst's side were exceptional throughout the match, although their goal certainly had an element of luck about it.

On the hour mark, André Ramalho Silva surrendered possession on the edge of his own box with a rather dodgy first touch, Malik Tilman the man nicking the ball right off his opponent's feet.

The midfielder, who is on loan from Bayern Munich, then squared it to Colak, who tapped into an empty net from a few yards out to send the passionate fans in the away end absolutely wild.

It certainly was a moment to forget for young Ramalho, one that will likely haunt him for quite some time...

What was Ramalho doing?! The defender thought he had time to turn and find a teammate, but the Rangers front line had other ideas.

Colak has now scored five goals this season after recently arriving from PAOK and is proving that the Scottish club no longer need to be reliant on Alfredo Morelos up top.

The Colombian was omitted from the squad to play PSV, with Van Bronckhorst explaining the reason behind his decision the day before the match.

"He has to show me he wants to play for Rangers," the Dutch manager said, per BBC.

"I know he wants to play, but to play for Rangers, you need to have a certain level mentally, physically - and, at the moment, he's not ready to play.

"As a person, it was a hard decision. As a manager, it was an easy one because we are here to represent our club and to get into the Champions League tomorrow evening and that in my eyes was best, to take the squad we brought tonight."

But who needs Morelos when you've got Colak, eh?

The Croatian's goal in Eindhoven is one that Rangers fans will never, ever forget and they can now look forward to Thursday's Champions League draw, which also includes their Glasgow rivals Celtic.
