Khabib Nurmagomedov is undoubtedly one of the UFC’s best ever fighters. Known as ‘The Eagle’, he maintained an unbelievable undefeated streak spanning over 29 fights and dominated along the way.

His list of opponents include Dustin Poirier, Edson Barbosa and Conor McGregor.

Even when many thought the Irishman posed a serious threat to Khabib, the Russian stunned any doubters by having McGregor tap out in the fourth round.

He was a mainstay in the lightweight division for years and the fact no one could defeat him meant he retired as the division’s champion and the number one pound-for-pound fighter in the UFC.

The retirement was a shock to many, coming seemingly out of nowhere. But, having lost his father in the midst of the pandemic, Nurmagomedov felt that it wouldn’t be right to go on without him.

There was already an obligation in place for Khabib to fight Justin Gaethje before the passing of his father, so, he completed the fight and later delivered an emotional retirement speech.

Khabib Nurmagomedov paid tribute to his father Abdulmanap as he was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame

He has since entered the UFC Hall of Fame in the class of 2022, being inducted into the ‘modern wing’. He joins legends such as Michael Bisping, Ronda Rousey and Georges St-Pierre in this category.

Khabib had a unique presence, and that’s backed up by a clip that’s surfacing on Twitter. It was shared by @TanyaKhaChi and shows ‘The Eagle’ doing some shadow boxing in the gym with a drone following him.

The drone was likely there to capture some actions shots of one of the UFC’s best, but, it seems that even Nurmagomedov decided to have fun with the drone flying around him.

Hilariously, the Russian star got closer and closer to the drone before landing a wicked right hand directly to it.

The drone was sent circling backwards and it made for a pretty cool shot when looking back at the strike on the camera.

It shows that even on short range, Khabib’s punches can pack a ridiculous amount of power.
