The main event of AEW Dynamite saw the return of Kip Sabian during the Trios Tournament quarter-final match between United Empire's Will Ospreay and Aussie Open against Death Triangle.

United Empire and Death Triangle had an incredible bout with a blend of styles captivating the AEW fans.

Ospreay and Rey Fenix started the match fast, with both men unable to get the upper hand as the clash of styles saw an athletic masterclass.

The match was riddled with incredible spots, most notably Will Ospreay landing on his feet after Rey Fenix hit an Avalanche Frankensteiner.

It would be United Empire to get the victory after a series of trio moves which included assisted versions of the Hidden Blade and the Oz-Cutter.

United Empire will clash with The ELITE next week, with the winner going to All Out to face either The House Of Black, Dark Order or Best Freinds.

However, the talking point of the United Empire and Death Triangle bout saw Pac hit a moonsault off the turnbuckle and move onto the outside. He is then distracted by an on-looking Kip Sabian with his signature box on his head that he has been sporting for well over a year in the front row.

In recent weeks Sabian has been in attendance and stalking Pac's title defences, frustrations grew, and Pac removed the box only for it not to be Sabian.

Sabian eventually emerged and attacked Pac from behind, dropping him with a vicious suplex on the outside before leaving through the crowd undetected, setting up a future feud with Pac, with All Out just around the corner it could set up a PPV match for Sabian's in-ring return.

Kip is an AEW original and has been out of action for over a year, with his last match in AEW being the Arcade Anarchy match alongside Miro against Best Friends Orange Cassidy and Chuck Taylor.
