WWE star Alexa Bliss has championed the company’s next celebrity star, by suggesting a WWE run for hip-hop star Cardi B.

Celebrities have become common place in WWE dating back to the first-ever WrestleMania, when names of the era such as Mr T, Cyndi Lauper and Mohammed Ali all made cameos in the company.

That tradition has long continued ever since and often come with a hip-hop flavour. What with numerous appearances from music legend Snoop Dogg, Bad Bunny’s incredible performance at WrestleMania 37 and Flo Rida’s multi-WrestleMania live shows.

Now Alexa Bliss has thrown another musical name into the ring, by commenting on a possible involvement from longtime WWE fan Cardi B.

Speaking in an interview with Verge Magazine, Bliss is already stating a claim for the 29-year-old megastar to have a run in WWE.

“I feel like they have to have a big personality. We’ve already had some stuff with Cardi B but I think she would be a really good WWE Superstar.”

Cardi B has already had some WWE dabbling. She has previously featured on WWE TV when her song ‘Up’ was used as the theme for SummerSlam 2021.

She has also revealed in the past that she is a massive WWE fan, admitting that her favourite duo was Edge and Lita – describing them as being a ‘sexy a** couple’.

WWE have had recent hits with celebrity involvement with Logan Paul signing a multi-year deal with the company and impressing in his win over the Miz at SummerSlam earlier this month. While Pat McAfee continues to entertain fans after his transition from the NFL.

Bliss meanwhile will be in action next weekend as she heads to Cardiff for WWE’s huge UK event Clash at the Castle. The five-time women’s champion will team with Asuka and current Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair to face the team of Bayley, Dakota Kai and Iyo Skye.
