Luis Alberto scored an absolute screamer in Lazio's victory over Inter Milan on Friday evening. The Spaniard was in the starting lineup for the Serie A clash at Stadio Olimpico. It was the home side that took the lead, with Felipe Anderson finding the net in the 40th minute.Inter regrouped after the break and it didn't take them long to restore parity: Lautaro Martinez grabbing the goal. But Lazio grabbed the lead once again 15 minutes from time.It was Alberto who got the goal - and what a goal it was.Pedro pulled the ball back for Alberto to strike from 25 yards out.Alberto ran onto the ball and unleashed a thunderbolt that nestled into the top corner. It was a briliant strike and you can watch it below...

What. A. Hit.

That sound the ball made when it hit the back of the net was just beautiful.

Replays showed that Alberto's strike took a minor defelction off Nicolo Barella but, regardless, it was still a ridiculous hit from the former Liverpool player.

Lazio went on to make the points safe when Pedro found the net in the 86th minute.

Pedro found space inside the box and curled his effort beyond Samir Handanović and into the top corner.

Pedro spoke to the media after the match.

“I am very happy for this victory and the work from the whole team was incredible,” Pedro told DAZN, per football-italia.

“It’s always nice to score a goal and help the side. We can fight it out with anyone and playing like this we are on the right track.”

He went on to compare Maurizio Sarri to Pep Guardiola.

He continued: “In a certain way, he too always wants us to have the ball, press high and keep possession. In that sense, he is very similar to Guardiola. Sarri has his ideas, the team has understood them, we need to keep believing in those ideas and continue playing like this.”

What a night for Lazio. They are now top of the table having secured seven points from their opening three games.

Inter have dropped to fourth and are one point off Sarri's side.
