Dusan Vlahovic is flying at Juventus right now.Having signed for big money in January amidst interest from every European club and their dog, the lethal Serbian striker has picked up from where he left off at Fiorentina with an eagle-like eye for goal. The 22-year-old notched nine goals across his first half-season with the Old Lady and has started his sophomore year in even more ruthless form, racked up two goals in as many games.

Vlahovic takes on AS Roma

However, while fans have become very familiar with the sight of Vlahovic nipping in with poacher's finishes and ruthless one-on-strikes, they are perhaps less aware of his brilliance from free-kicks.

Vlahovic might only have scored two direct free-kicks in his club career coming into this weekend, but make no mistake that he's still got an eye for an absolute pearler.

And that couldn't have been more apparent than in one of the standout Serie A fixtures of the early weeks of the season as AS Roma made the trip to the Allianz Stadium on Saturday.

In fact, Jose Mourinho's men actually found themselves sat above the Turin side going into the game having won their opening two matches on the back of a superb summer transfer window.

Vlahovic scores stunning free-kick

But Vlahovic was keen to pour cold water on their excitement and hype within the opening two minutes of the game courtesy of - you guessed it - a stunning free-kick.

We'd even dare to say that Vlahovic converted it in exactly the sort of style that Cristiano Ronaldo so often tried and failed to do across three seasons in the very same black and white stripes.

So be sure to check out the moment that Vlahovic got the party started in northern Italy, duly leaving Roma shell-shocked, by watching his sensational free-kick in all its glory down below:

Have a load of that.

Shades of Ronaldo

It's one thing to channel Ronaldo by getting the strike absolutely spot on and it's another thing to add that extra layer of pizzazz by finding the net via the crossbar - something that always makes a goal look even better.

We don't make the Ronaldo comparison lightly either because it's got a whole lot more to do with the fact that Vlahovic is now inhabiting the exact role that the five-time Ballon d'Or winner thrived in.

Rather, we see a lot of Ronaldo-like technique in the way that Vlahovic struck the ball, combining the classic 'knuckle-ball' style with a hint of the very curved, curling side-foot that you see from most players.

While 'CR7' might have fully wedged his strikes for maximum ferocity and movement in his early days, the last 10 years have seen him deploying a routine uncannily similar to what Vlahovic inflicted upon Roma.

So if Vlahovic can then go that one step further and cut a Ronaldo-like figure with his finishing in general, then you can rest assured knowing that he'll be a romping success for Juventus.

Is the Scudetto coming back to the Allianz Stadium this season...?
