Arsenal maintained their 100% start to the Premier League season against Fulham on Saturday.

It's all sunshine and rainbows at Emirates Stadium right now as the Gunners entered their fourth clash of 2022/23 having already put Crystal Palace, Leicester City and Bournemouth to the sword.

However, this time around, the north London side faced their toughest challenge yet in the form of a plucky Fulham side... a plucky Fulham side, in fact, who put themselves 1-0 up.

Fulham make Arsenal work

After a frustrating half for Mikel Arteta's men where they dominated possession but failed to break the deadlock, it was actually the Cottagers who opened the scoring in snatch-and-grab style.

That's because Aleksandar Mitrović continued his sensational start to the season by pick-pocketing Gabriel as he dilly-dallyied in defence, duly finishing calmly past Aaron Ramsdale.

As such, Arsenal were forced to show the very brand of grit and resilience that they hadn't needed to draw upon in their first three games and is so often illustrative of a side destined for success.

Arsenal bag dramatic winner

And alas, the Gunners were up for the challenge as they fought back from 1-0 down to secure the three points courtesy of an equaliser by club captain Martin Odegaard and a moment of redemption from Gabriel.

The Brazilian defender bounced back from his costly error to swing the game in Arsenal's favour with just five minutes left to play as he bundled the ball past Bernd Leno from a chaotic corner.

Cue partisan scenes at the Emirates as Gooners not only basked in the reality that they'd won a fourth game on the bounce, but also that they'd extended the palpable feel-good factor at the club right now.

'Zinchenko mistaken for pitch invader'

And such was the scenes of unadulterated joy at the 60,000-capacity stadium that Oleksandr Zinchenko appeared to be involved in a very amusing moment that went viral across Twitter.

The summer signing from Manchester City might have had to sit out the game with a knee injury, but he was still sure to get himself involved in the goal celebrations after Gabriel's winner.

Totally overjoyed with the goal, Zinchenko got himself amongst it wearing some black Arsenal attire akin to the club's away jersey, hugging the players as they revelled in the goal.

However, it seems as though Zinchenko's apparel looked inconspicuous enough that one steward appeared to think for a split-second that it was, in fact, a pitch invader joining the players.

Obviously, only the steward herself can confirm whether or not that was exactly the case, but it's easy see why thousands of fans believe that to be what happened when you watch the footage down below:

You love to see it.

Viral moment of confusion

It certainly does look as though the steward has mistaken the all-back attire of Zinchenko for somebody from the stands who had gotten carried away with Arsenal's dramatic winner.

It wouldn't be the first time, after all, that a supporter has used the carnage of a late goal to take their chance and make a break for the pitch, briefly forcing themselves amongst the celebrations.

However, the steward in question clearly knows their Arsenal players pretty well because the video shows the amusing moment where she seems to clock that, wait a second, it is actually one of the club's players who's joined the action.

But that brief moment of confusion and that all-too perfect camera framing means she has indeed been immortalised in a viral clip that you just know will keep doing the rounds. Pure gold.
