Marcus Thuram gave Gladbach the lead in the 43rd minute. Sommer did absolutely everything in his power to keep Bayern out.

His heroics nearly led his side to three points but Leroy Sane managed to find a way past him in the 83rd minute.

Still, despite not keeping a clean sheet, it was an incredible display by Sommer, who managed to earn his side a valuable point at the home of the champions. Bundesliga's Twitter account compiled all of his saves into a video and you can watch it below...

We're not exaggerating: Sommer's display has to be one of the best goalkeeping display in the 21st century.

Stats website Sofascore gave him a 10/10 rating. He made 11 saves from shots taken from inside his box.

He made four clearances and two punches. In fact, the 19 saves he made is the most a goalkeeper has made in a single match in SofaScore's entire database.

Sommer's heroics mean Gladbach remain unbeaten in the 2022/23 Bundesliga season.

They have recorded two wins and two draws from their opening four games and are positioned in sixth.

Bayern are two points ahead of Gladbach and remain in first.
