The Emirates Stadium was bouncing on Saturday evening after Arsenal maintained their 100% start to the Premier League season with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Fulham.

Aleksandar Mitrović capitalised on an error from Gabriel just before the hour mark to score his fourth league goal in as many games and give the visitors a surprise lead in north London.

Arsenal were level within eight minutes, courtesy of an equaliser from club captain Martin Odegaard, but looked set to have to settle for a point as the match entered its final five minutes.

With the clock ticking down, though, Gabriel atoned for his earlier mistake when he bundled the ball past Bernd Leno from an Arsenal corner.

The home faithful went wild - and the volume only increased at the final whistle as the Gunners retained their spot at the top of the Premier League table.

Television cameras captured joyous scenes around the ground as Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta and players celebrated the victory with their ecstatic fans.

Just 12 months ago, Arteta was under serious pressure to resign after Arsenal failed to win - or score a goal in - any of their first three Premier League games last season.

A year later, the Spaniard could hardly be enjoying life any more following his side's blistering start to the campaign - and it showed at full-time on Saturday.

Arteta had a massive smile on his face as he congratulated his players on their come-from-behind win, making sure to fully soak in the moment with the club's supporters.

His reaction did not go down well with beIN Sport presenter Richard Keys who slammed the Arsenal boss during the channel's live coverage of the match, branding him "extremely irritating".

"Yeah, well played, you came back to win it and they keep their 100 per cent record intact. But they haven’t won the title tonight. They’ve won a London derby… Let’s not get too carried away. We’re four games into the season," Keys declared.

"Look at the manager. You’re joking! They’re over celebrating this. It’s a 2-1 win against newly promoted Fulham. I don’t understand this. They’ve won nothing. I can’t hide the fact I find him extremely irritating, waving his arms around like a windmill for 90 minutes, as if anybody can hear him.

"This is over hype. It’s Fulham. This is a league game. If this was the semi-final of the cup somewhere and you’d won, then I get that. Maybe this is what he (Arteta) wants to instil here, I don’t know. I would say it’s dangerous because you’re going to have plenty of downs, that’s for sure."

Granted, we're still in the early stages of the campaign, but surely we might as well all pack up and go home if players and staff aren't allowed to celebrate success with their fans, particularly after a dramatic last-gasp winner.

Among the many Arsenal fans to blast Keys for his comments was talkSPORT's Laura Woods, who responded to the clip above in a tweet.

"Genuinely…what is the point of football if you can’t enjoy it in the moment? It’s just a happy team with happy fans who will probably go out tonight & get sh*t faced. That’s the point.

"Better not celebrate a goal in case you lose the game either," she wrote.

Arsenal might be a long way away from lifting silverware yet, but every other top-flight manager would love to swap league positions with the Gunners right now.

It remains to be seen whether Arteta can maintain Arsenal's momentum in the long-term. However, while they are still winning matches, expect to see the party atmosphere at the Emirates continue and the boss "waving his arms like a windmill" on the touchline regularly.
