Mike Tyson has seemingly forgiven Dana White for securing him three rounds with 30 sharks.

The former world heavyweight champion took to Instagram to post a hilarious clip of the pair discussing his appearance on Shark Week back in 2020.

The video was captioned 'The time when Dana White almost had me killed by sharks'.

Iron Mike joked: "I said, 'He cares about me?' This n***a cares about me? He wants me to get hurt, he put me in there with a shark."

White said the gig was part of an effort to stop Tyson from making a comeback to the ring - which he did anyway.

He explained: "I call him up and I say, 'Dude, I don't want you to do this f***ing fight man, this is f***ing crazy. I'll get you a TV show, you'll make some money.'

"So I put him on Shark Week. And he was like, 'Wait a minute, you care about me?

"'You tell me not to fight and you put me on f*****g Shark Week. Yeah, you really care about me.'"

Tyson's participation in the Discovery Channel's show saw him head to the Bahamas to complete three challenges for Tyson vs Jaws: Rumble on the Reef.

He started by cage-diving into the ocean with lemon sharks, before stepping out and pushing them away with his hands.

The final task required Tyson to induce tonic immobility by grabbing a shark and tickling its nose, putting it to sleep.

He succeeded in doing so, but the nerves got the better of him beforehand as he vomited in the boat before making the 50 foot dive.

The boxing star admitted to feeling uneasy about the opportunity, even saying he felt ‘really scared’ on arrival in the Bahamas.

Tyson was reportedly in a foul mood on the day of filming.

White said: "The day he had to jump in and do the shark thing, I guess he was f***ing going crazy, he was p***** off, the whole film crew was terrified.

"Everyone was scared. He had to dive into the water and swim with these sharks."
