Mario Balotelli clashed with his own manager after Adana Demirspor's match against Umraniye on Saturday evening.

Adana Demirspor won 1-0 courtesy of Kevin Rodrigues' sixth minute goal.

Balotelli started the match on the bench. He was subbed on at half-time and helped his side secure all three points.

But, despite his side's victory, the Italian clearly wasn't happy at the final whistle.

After Balotelli shook hands with the officials, he then uttered some words to his manager, Vincenzo Montella.

And whatever Balotelli said appeared to rattle the former Roma striker.

Montella showed his displeasure as he turned around and pointed his finger at Balotelli.

Balotelli then had some words back and Montella flipped.

The 48-year-old put his hands on his striker and tried to square up to him.

Balotelli was dragged away but Montella wasn't letting up as he chased after the striker.

Montella had to be restrained and calmed down by his players. It was a chaotic moment and you can watch it below...

Wow. fair to say Montella was not happy.

We would loved to know what unfolded when the two men made it back to Adana Demirspor's dressing room.

Montella had calmed down by his post-match interview but that did not stop him from slamming his striker.

“I can only say that we expect more from him,” Montella said at a post-match press conference, per football-italia.

“These things can happen at the end of a game. Sometimes adrenaline makes you say other things, but to me, it ends here.”

Balotelli has yet to make a start for his side this season. He has come off the bench twice and has failed to score on both ocassions.

Adana Demirspor are second in the Super Lig having picked up nine points from their opening four games.

They are currently one points behind leaders, Gaziantep.
