De Bruyne's assists-per-game tally of 0.36 puts him in second place, just behind Di Maria.

Ozil, who enjoyed an almost telepathic partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo for three seasons at Real Madrid, takes third.

Neymar is fourth, just ahead of Messi, who is perhaps surprisingly low down in fifth.

The duo's PSG teammate, Mbappe, has a 0.31 assists-per-game ratio, the eighth highest since 2000.

Alexander-Arnold just about sneaks into the top 20.

The Liverpool star's assists-peer-game ratio of 0.26 is ridiculous for a defender.
