Manchester United could make two more outfield signings after Antony, says transfer insider Dean Jones.

The Red Devils announced on Tuesday that the Brazilian is set to join them from Ajax, with the fee they are paying believed to be around £81m, while Newcastle United goalkeeper Martin Dubravka is also on his way to the club.

Who have United signed this transfer window?

While United have been unable to lure Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong, who was said to be a priority for them this summer, to Old Trafford, manager Erik ten Hag can still be pleased with the business his club have done.

They have been able to bring in Casemiro, Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez.

Martinez has arrived from Ajax and worked under Ten Hag before, so the Dutchman would have acquired a couple of players who are familiar with his philosophy once Antony officially joins.

In Casemiro and Eriksen, he has two midfielders who possess a lot of experience, too.

What has Jones said about United's transfer plans ahead of Thursday's deadline?

Jones thinks two more outfield players could still arrive at Old Trafford before the transfer window closes.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the journalist said: "There still might be two more to come; we have to wait and see. But even if that doesn't happen, United are in much better shape than they were at the end of last season and they have the main pieces they need for Ten Hag to play his style of football."

Who could United sign?

There has been a lot of talk about Napoli's Victor Osimhen recently. According to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sport, the Nigerian striker is now top target for United.

He was brilliant for Luciano Spalletti's side last season, scoring 14 goals in 27 Serie A appearances to help them to a third-placed finish. If Ten Hag is looking for a new No.9, the 23-year-old could be an excellent addition to the Red Devils' squad.

PSV Eindhoven winger Cody Gakpo is another player who continues to be linked with a move to Old Trafford.

As per The Telegraph, the Netherlands international has caught United's attention. However, with the Manchester club having been successful in their pursuit of Antony, you suspect that their interest has now cooled.

Whatever happens from this point on, United have had a productive transfer window. Ten Hag has been able to improve his defence, midfield and attack, while he has also recruited a couple of players that he knows extremely well.
