Last night's episode of Monday Night Raw saw Aliyah and Raquel Rodriguez become the WWE Women's Champions. Many fans expected IYO SKY and Dakota Kai to win the Women's Tag Team title tournament, but to the surprise of many, WWE went with Aliyah and Rodriguez for the spot.Fans had fantasy booked a scenario in which Sasha Banks and Naomi would return to confront the tournament winners, which also didn't end up happening. However, the plot has seemingly thickened, as it seems like the finish to last night's match was botched, perhaps even intentionally. As you can see from the footage below, after Aliyah pinned Kai, the former NXT star was visibly seen saying that she wasn't the legal woman, meaning the finish wasn't legitimate.

That was likely planned by Triple H, with the new Head of Creative seemingly wanting to delay Kai and SKY's inevitable Tag Team Championship win.

The common feeling amongst fans is that on Raw next week, following Clash at the Castle, WWE Officials will acknowledge that a mistake was made in the title match.

This could lead to another match taking place, with IYO and Dakota picking up the win in the second match, as many fans expected last night.

In turn, that could also lead to the returns of Sasha Banks and Naomi, which many journalists have said is all but confirmed at this stage.

As of right now, it's important to note that it's not believed that the botch was a mistake, and what happened last night is widely thought to be Triple H's way of extending the storyline.

However, there's no word on why Triple H made the decision to not give SKY and Kai the titles, which as noted, almost everyone expected to happen.
