Arsenal made it four wins from four in the Premier League last Saturday evening.

Following victories over Crystal Palace, Leicester City and Bournemouth, the Gunners hosted Fulham at the Emirates Stadium - and they had to work incredibly hard for three vital points.

In the second half, Arsenal fell 1-0 behind when an absolute howler from Gabriel Magalhaes allowed Aleksandar Mitrovic to open the scoring.

Mikel Arteta's side recovered from the major setback, though.

Club captain Martin Odegaard levelled the scores with a deflected effort, before Gabriel made up for his mistake by poking home the winner in the 85th minute of play.

Arsenal managed to see out the time left in the match to bag the win, although Fulham certainly had them worried on several occasions.

Arteta was clearly concerned by the away side's momentum and decided to take matters into his own hands to try and halt it.

In the first minute of stoppage-time, the Arsenal boss picked up the ball after it had gone out for a Fulham throw and instead of handing it back to the opposition, he rolled it towards the dugouts in rather unsportsmanlike fashion.

Cheeky, very cheeky indeed from Arteta. The Spaniard was very lucky to escape a booking from the referee.

One man who's particularly enraged by the actions of the Arsenal boss is former Tottenham Hotspur striker, Garth Crooks.

When selecting his Premier League Team of the Week for the BBC, Crooks went in on Arteta after naming Odegaard in the XI.

He wrote: "The headline was: 'How Arteta is turning Arsenal into contenders.'

Arsenal's Mikel Arteta and Martin Odegaard on the touchline

"My only problem with that statement is I didn't like the way the Arsenal manager went about it against Fulham. To see Mikel Arteta watch the ball roll off the pitch into the technical area, pick it up and then throw it away as the Fulham player was racing to get the ball back into play in a desperate attempt to get an equaliser as the final seconds ticked away, had me hopping with fury.

"Managers should never touch the ball unless they intend to hand it back to the player. Bertie Mee or Arsene Wenger would never have behaved in such a manner and they have won titles.

"As for Odegaard, it was another fine display by the Arsenal captain."

Yeah, it's safe to say Garth - like Richard Keys - isn't the biggest fan of Arteta when he's on the touchline...
