Crystal Palace are interested in signing Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to Dharmesh Sheth.

However, the Sky Sports reporter thinks it will be extremely difficult for the south London club to land their former player before Thursday's transfer deadline.

What is the latest news involving Wan-Bissaka?

As per The Athletic, United have turned down approaches from Palace and West Ham for Wan-Bissaka.

According to the same outlet, the Manchester club would want a replacement for the right-back if he were to leave.

However, with the window about to close, they would have little time to find one, hence their reluctance to allow Wan-Bissaka to depart.

The Englishman was a key player for United having initially joined them from Palace in a £50m deal just over three years ago. In his first season at Old Trafford, he missed just three Premier League games. Fast forward to now, though, and he has slipped down the pecking order, failing to start a fixture so far this season.

What has Sheth said about Wan-Bissaka and Palace?

While Palace have been trying to bring Wan-Bissaka back to Selhurst Park this summer, Sheth feels it is a bit of a non-starter, especially at this stage of the transfer window.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the Sky Sports reporter said: "I think it was kind of a non-starter. Look, they still seem to be interested because they are in the market for a right-back, but the Wan-Bissaka one might just be a stretch now."

Should Wan-Bissaka push for a move to Palace?

If he wants game time, then yes. It is clear to see that Diogo Dalot is Erik ten Hag's first-choice right-back at Old Trafford right now.

While Wan-Bissaka is yet to start a match for United this season, the Portugal international has been named in his manager's first XI in all four of the club's fixtures so far.

Of course, it is a long campaign ahead, especially with there being a World Cup in the middle of it. Ten Hag will need to rotate his squad, while there is always the chance of Dalot picking up an injury as he has done before at United.

With the Red Devils in the Europa League, Wan-Bissaka should get some minutes. However, if he wants to be a regular starter this term, then he may have to move to another team like Patrick Vieira's side.

Time, though, is obviously running out, so if the above is the case, he has to make his feelings known to United quickly.
