Manchester United have completed the signing of Antony from Ajax in a deal worth around £85 million.

The Red Devils officially announced the agreement between the two clubs on Tuesday, although the player will be unavailable for the match against Leicester City due to the fact his visa won't be ready in time.

Antony is now the Premier League's fourth-most expensive signing, behind only Jack Grealish, Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba.

The 22-year-old sensation arrives at United with a glowing reputation, partly thanks to his repertoire of sublime skills - which he often brings out in match situations.

'Joga Bonito' is coming to Old Trafford and Antony's arrival also means the Premier League now boasts a quite incredible XI made up solely of Brazilian players.

The team that can be created is so strong that a plethora of big-name footballers from the South American nation have to miss out entirely, including West Ham new boy Lucas Paqueta, Ederson, Roberto Firmino, Bruno Guimaraes and Philippe Coutinho.

Check out our take on the English top-flight's best Brazilian XI following the end of the Antony saga...

The Premier League's best Brazilian XI

What. A. Team.

A top-quality player in every single position. Some may point to Emerson as the 'weak link', but the former Barcelona defender has been hugely impressive for Spurs so far in 2022/23.

The additions of Casemiro and Lodi to the Premier League roster this summer, as well as Antony, significantly strengthen the XI.

Casemiro and Fabinho as a midfield partnership is terrifyingly good on paper, while Lodi is a very talented left-back who could take the division by storm at newly-promoted Forest after joining on loan from Atletico Madrid.

When you realise the sheer volume of Brazilian talent now operating in the Premier League, it's far easier to understand why the Selecao are clear favourites for the 2022 World Cup.

On top of their superstars on English soil, the nation's manager Tite has the likes of Neymar, Vinicius Junior, Marquinhos, Raphinha, Eder Militao, Bremer and Alex Sandro to pick from.

Yeah, good luck trying to stop Brazil out in Qatar this winter...
