Wilfried Zaha was not happy after Crystal Palace's draw against Brentford in their Premier League clash on Tuesday evening.

Zaha returned to Palace's starting lineup after missing their 4-2 defeat against Manchester City on Saturday.

He opened the scoring at Gtech Community Stadium with a brilliant strike in the 59th minute.

The Ivorian cut inside from the left and his beautiful curled effort from just outside the box found the top corner.

That was Zaha's fourth goal of the season.

It looked as if Zaha's strike would give The Eagles all three points.

But Palace could not hold on. Yoane Wissa notched an equaliser in the 88th minute to ensure the two sides shared the spoils.

Zaha was very frustrated after the final whistle and he voiced his displeasure at Crystal Palace's change of approach in an eye-opening interview.

Zaha thought Palace went too defensive after taking the lead and he made his feelings very clear.

"I'm lost for words man. Just one lapse of concentration. It ruins all the hard work. We literally just had to keep it tight," he told BT Sport.

"As soon as we went in the lead, we just started to defend. I don't see why we do that?

"If we just continue pressing on we could have got a second and that ends the game. We killed ourselves in the end."

That is passion right now. It's clear to see just how frustrated Zaha was his side after they let all three points slip away in the dying moments.

Zaha may not be a Palace player much longer. He has been linked with a move to both Chelsea and Arsenal in recent times.

Eni Aluko was working as a pundit on BT Sport and she believes Palace need to prepare for his departure.

"I feel like this is a broken record with Zaha, we talk about him leaving every single season. I'm a little bit surprised Crystal Palace haven't lined up a replacement for him, maybe Eze was meant to be that," she said, per the Mirror.

"We're yet to see with Eze, great player but I don't think he's got the same impact in goals as Zaha. But I think Crystal Palace need to really start thinking from a recruitment stand-point 'how do we replace him?' At some point he may go, in the next year or so."
