Tottenham Hotspur managing director Fabio Paratici and head coach Antonio Conte have set their sights on luring a 'right-sided Ivan Perisic' to Hotspur Way ahead of the fast-approaching transfer deadline, according to journalist Dean Jones.

Perisic became Spurs' first signing of the summer window as the north Londoners moved quickly to secure his services ahead of his Inter Milan contract's expiry.

Which right-sided players have Spurs been linked with?

According to The Telegraph, Tottenham have reignited their interest in Atletico Madrid star Yannick Carrasco and opened talks ahead of tomorrow's 11pm deadline.

The report suggests Conte is prepared to strike a deal after failing in his attempts to secure the 57-cap Belgium international's services in January, while Manchester United have also considered testing the La Liga side's resolve.

Leeds United winger Dan James has worked his way onto Spurs' radar and a loan, which includes a buy option, has been discussed amid additional interest from Premier League rivals Everton.

Spurs were in the running to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers' Adama Traore, who has been described as 'unbelievable' by Manchester City star Jack Grealish, ahead of his loan switch to Barcelona in January.

The north Londoners' interest has not gone away, but Wolves are reportedly pricing Traore out of a deal despite his wish to head to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

What has Dean Jones said about the situation?

Jones understands that Paratici has made the addition of a right-sided talent, who has similar attributes to Perisic, one of his priorities.

The transfer insider is aware that Carrasco, James and Traore - who are valued at just over £70million by Transfermarkt - are under consideration, but the latter's price tag has been increased with the deadline looming.

Jones told GIVEMESPORT: "Spurs are looking for a right-sided version of Perisic.

"Carrasco and James have both been viewed for that role. Adama has been too, but suddenly his value has shot back up to around £20million."

Who have Spurs signed so far?

Having already dipped into the free agency market to land Perisic, Spurs signed Fraser Forster following the expiry of his Southampton contract.

Conte then showed he is not afraid to splash the cash as he sanctioned a £35million deal for Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Yves Bissouma and forked out £60million to tempt Everton into selling Richarlison.

Clement Lenglet has joined on a season-long loan from Barcelona, while Djed Spence has arrived after a £20million fee was enough to prise him away from Middlesbrough.

Destiny Udogie has returned to Udinese for the remainder of the season after a £15million deal was struck and Cristian Romero has wrapped up his permanent switch from Atalanta.
