GiveMeSport has been told that Tyson Fury will be appearing at WWE Clash at the Castle this weekend.

WWE is heading to Cardiff's Principality Stadium on September 3 for Clash at the Castle, the first big stadium show in the UK since 1992.

When the show was announced, many fans speculated that Tyson Fury would be heavily involved in the show, potentially even working a match.

Fury made his WWE in-ring debut in Saudi Arabia in November 2019, and many fans thought he'd wrestle his second match in Cardiff, given that he's one of the UK's biggest sports stars.

In fact, Fury told GiveMeSport in April that he'd likely be doing some work with WWE this summer, but that hasn't materialised.

WWE hasn't announced Fury for the show at the time of writing, but GiveMeSport's Louis Dangoor has learnt that 'The Gypsy King' will be in attendance.

Sources close to Fury tell GiveMeSport that he will be in Cardiff this weekend for WrestleFest, as well as the big Clash at the Castle show on Saturday evening.

However, we've been told that Tyson almost certainly won't be doing anything physically on the show, and could just appear in the crowd as he did on SmackDown's debut on FOX in October 2019.

The decision to keep Tyson away from the ring is likely due to the fact he doesn't want to risk picking up an injury ahead of a potential return to boxing over the coming months.

At this stage, with just three days between now and Clash at the Castle, it seems like Fury's appearance at the show will be kept a surprise, rather than being announced ahead of time.

As noted, Fury has worked with WWE before, wrestling Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia in October 2019.

Making his WWE debut on the same show as former UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez, Fury ended up beating Strowman via count out.

As of right now, there's no word on what Fury is going to do at the show, but many fans have speculated that he'll be involved with Drew McIntyre.

Drew and Fury have spoken a lot about each other in interviews, which was believed to be building to a match between the pair, so they could meet on-screen at the show this weekend.
