Liverpool snatched a crucial three points right at the last against Newcastle on Wednesday night.
After an indifferent Premier League start, Jurgen Klopp's Reds needed nothing more than a win to keep touch with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City at the top of the table.
Fabio Carvalho thumping the ball home in the dying seconds sparked some mad scenes at Anfield with the two benches taking exception to the other's reaction.
Joel Matip also went full Joel Matip with some of the strangest celebrations we have seen in a very long time.
However, while the night ended in jubilation, it did little to paper of the cracks that are showing in Klopp's squad.
With a number of his stars propped up on physio tables, Liverpool's line-ups have looked rather thread-bare since the Premier League kicked off.
As a result, Klopp seems to have reluctantly made one last dive into the transfer market, swooping for a loan move for Juventus midfielder, Arthur Melo.
All seems to have gone smoothly with Arthur reportedly very keen to make the move happen.
So, with the Brazilian set to become Klopp's latest recruit, how might Liverpool line-up on game day with him around?
Well it's a tricky one as the feeling is that Arthur is being brought in as a stop gap but, with the ability to play as both an eight and six, who could prove to be very handy indeed.
Here are five different XIs we think Klopp could settle for with Arthur in his ranks.
Five ways Liverpool could line-up with Arthur
Arthur does give Klopp more room to rotate his midfield options but, once everyone is fit, it is unlikely that he will be first choice.
We have tried to stick to Klopp's beloved formation as much as we can.
It seems unlikely that Arthur will usurp Fabinho in the starting XI but he does provide an added option as the anchor.
The likes of Harvey Elliott and Fabio Carvalho give Klopp a handy selection headache and could force him into some rare formation changes.
Klopp could choose to play the double-anchor game giving the likes of Thiago, Elliott, or Carvalho added freedom going forward.
Klopp's favourite formation makes another appearance with Fabinho in his favourite role at the base of midfield while Arthur has been freed up to charge forward.
If Naby Keita can string together a run of fitness then Klopp has shown a real hunger to give him as good a chance as any in the midfield.
