Manchester United made it three wins on the bounce on Thursday night.
Erik ten Hag’s reign got off to the worst possible start with back-to-back defeats against Brighton and Brentford, but since that humiliating 4-0 loss away at Brentford the Red Devils have looked a totally different team.
United went on to record a shock 2-1 victory over rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford before producing a professional performance away at Southampton, registering a 1-0 win while keeping their first clean sheet of the campaign.
And United’s travelling supporters were treated to a similar performance against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
Jadon Sancho scored the only goal of the game midway through the first half as Man Utd climbed to fifth in the Premier League table.
What did Ten Hag say after Leicester 0-1 Man Utd?
“Again [we had] good team spirit, we had 11 players on the pitch who fight for each other,” Ten Hag said after the match, per United’s official website.
“I’m happy with the clean sheet. When our 11 are on the pitch, we defend together and attack together.”
The work that Ten Hag and his backroom staff are doing on the training ground with a group of players who were completely devoid of confidence is clearly having the desired effect.
Man Utd’s brilliant passing move v Leicester
One eye-catching passage of play from the first half, not long after Sancho’s goal, shows United are undoubtedly heading in the right direction under their Dutch manager.
In the 26th minute of the match, Leicester’s players tried hard to win the ball high up the pitch but couldn’t get close to their opponents, who zipped the ball about with pace and accuracy.
Watch out for the flick from Bruno Fernandes and the dummy from Tyrell Malacia.

Had Christian Eriksen’s shot found the back of the net, we’d be talking about one of the goals of the season.
But take nothing away from United’s exquisite passing move which surely delighted Ten Hag.
Let’s check out some of the reaction to the clip:
Will Man Utd beat Arsenal?
United now prepare to face Arsenal, who currently occupy pole position in the table thanks to five consecutive victories.
But Ten Hag’s men will firmly believe they have what it takes to end the Gunners’ winning streak.
Casemiro, who impressed after coming off the bench against Leicester, will be in line to make his first United start.
Meanwhile, the club’s new £84 million signing Antony could also make his debut on Sunday.
