PGA Tour 2K23 is coming out later this year and is one of the most anticipated golf games in recent memory but does it support crossplay?

The latest addition into the 2K sporting genre – they have also produced WWE games and NBA games – is set to release on October 14th, 2022.

The game is being fronted by Tiger Woods and will also feature Michael Jordan as a playable character.

Plenty of information has already been revealed about PGA Tour 2K23, with the game set to feature 20 fully licenced courses, including the Riviera Country Club, The Renaissance Club and Copperhead (Innisbrook). There will also be four further courses added as free DLC: Pebble Beach Golf Club, Spyglass Hill, Torrey Pines North Course, and Torrey Pines South Course.

Is the game going to be crossplay, though, allowing players on PlayStation to go up against players on Xbox?

Will PGA Tour 2K23 have crossplay?

The answer to this is sadly no.

2K has not featured any promotional material based around PGA Tour 2K23 being crossplay.

When they first announced the game, they did say that there were no plans to allow players to be able to play against their friends on separate consoles.

There will be a host of multiplayer modes for players to dive into, and try to prove their worth in the online sphere.

But you won’t be able to hit the links with your buddies if they’ve got an Xbox and you’ve got a PlayStation or vice versa.

It remains to be seen if the option will be added to PGA Tour 2K24 but we do seem to be moving towards that being the standard across most AAA games.

FIFA 23, for example, will feature crossplay in a variety of modes.
