Claressa Shields and Savannah Marshall couldn't help but bicker like a pair of schoolgirls in the latest episode of 'The Gloves Are Off'.

The duo will settle their differences on Saturday at London's iconic O2 Arena with five middleweight world titles on the line in one of the biggest fights of the year so far.

In what's being described as the biggest women's fight of all time, Shields will put all five of her belts on the line against bitter rival Marshall.

The American is promoted by Dmitry Salita, who worked with Ben Shalom to get the deal over the line.

Both Marshall and Shields have been gunning for this fight for many years, with the latter looking to avenge her defeat to the former in the amateur ranks in 2012.

Asked if she thinks Marshall has improved as a fighter since their last fight, she replied: "No I don't, I think she's got worse since 2012, her skill level and everything.

"When she was in America, she fought on one of the biggest cards, Mayweather vs McGregor - nobody remembers it. Nobody.

"Now she comes to the UK, her home town, her home country, and now she's a knockout queen. But that's the privilege of her being the Brit."

On the other hand Marshall believes that Shields has come on leaps and bounds since their previous bout more than ten years ago.

She added: "I think she's improved, yeah.

"I think she's totally different from when we boxed in the amateurs.

"She boxes more as a pro now. She's a better fighter from what she was in 2012."

Marshall also brilliantly trolled Shields during the episode by asking her "who have you knocked out?" which seemed to rattle her opponent.

However neither could agree on which one of them is the A-side as it seems like it remains a bone of contention between the pair.

Shields will fight in the UK for just the second time in her career since turning professional, with her last outing in Cardiff coming against Ema Kozin earlier this year, where she put on a masterclass.

The 27-year-old is determined to show why she belongs at the top of the women's pound-for-pound rankings as she looks to outclass the WBO middleweight world champion.
