Deji has revealed that KSI told him he had "nothing to lose" before he won his first boxing match against YouTube rival FouseyTube.

The younger Olatunji, who is best known for his YouTube channel ComedyShortsGamer, was looking for his first win at the third time of trying.

Deji made his pro boxing debut on the undercard of KSI vs Swarmz & Pineda.

And he arguably stole the show as he beat the living daylights out of his opponent before his corner threw in the towel.

Deji appeared on the 'What's Good' podcast to chat to Miniminter and Randolph about his most recent victory, and KSI's little brother revealed his older sibling gave him some words of encouragement before the huge clash at London's iconic O2 Arena.

"When JJ did that video saying Fousey's going to win immediately I knew what he was doing," he said.

"Before my fight we had a phone call and he was like you've got nothing to lose.

"I was a bit nervous because it was in the morning but he was like you've got nothing to lose and I was like alright."

Deji brought KSI's personal trainer Leon Wills into his coaching setup to help him shape up for his fight with Fousey after his brother put them in touch with each other.

"I was going to message Leon myself but I was like I'm not doing this I can't do this," he explained.

"So then Shane was like just message JJ.

"Then I messaged JJ and JJ contacted Leon for me."

And despite being 'scared' at first, Deji can't thank Wills enough, saying his strict training regime helped him out enormously.

"Oh massive, a massive part honestly," he revealed.

"So the thing is with Leon we were doing S&C stuff but we also did boxing stuff as well.

"Every now and then he would come to my house and he did beat me up as well but he would wear this pad that I would punch but if my hands weren't in the right place he would smack me across the face so he was instilling discipline into me as well.

"I didn't miss one session. I was scared to miss a session because he knows where I live as well.

"With Leon if he sees that I'm dying he's like I don't care, carry on. But it's literally amazing though because that's what I needed. I needed that.

"The first session I had with Leon I'd never seen white before. It was the worst."
