Since arriving in the professional boxing world from the YouTube scene and the amateur boxing scene, Jake Paul has never looked back and is constantly getting better... whether you like it or not!Paul made his in-ring debut on the undercard of his brother Logan Paul’s white-collar amateur boxing match against KSI.On that night he would be fighting against Deji Olatunji, the brother of KSI, and despite drawing blood and getting a bit of a battered nose, he comfortably dispatched of Deji with thanks to a fifth-round TKO.Since that fight, Paul remains undefeated in his professional boxing career, including two first-round knockouts and two wins over UFC star Tyron Woodley. His hit-list so far reads; AnEsonGib, Nate Robinson, Ben Askren and then Woodley on two separate occasions.Paul was also due to fight Tommy Fury, half-brother of Tyson in the past on two occasions, but a potential fight in December 2021 was called off due to Fury’s medical issues and the fight earlier this year was scrapped due to problems travelling to the States. The second scrapped fight then led Hasim Rahman Jr stepping in, but that fight was then cancelled too with the replacement refusing to meet weight. In the last few days, however, it has been announced that Paul will be taking on his toughest test to date next month in the form of Anderson Silva.Following the announcement, fans have pulled up an old tweet of Paul’s from 2012, where it appears to show him in awe of Silva. The tweet from 2012 reads: “@SpiderAnderson do u remember coming to Ohio at Quaker steak and lube ? I got your autograph hah aur the man I’ll never forget that stuff !!”Read more: Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva: Date, Card, Venue and more

Paul was 15 at the time the tweet was posted and clearly a fanboy of the UFC legend. How times have changed and how far he has come in that time!

Silva has had four boxing bouts to date, losing his first fight to Osmar Luiz Teixeira back in 1998 and then winning his following three, with the most recent being a first-round knockout of Tito Ortiz in September 2021.

Silva will undoubtedly be Paul’s toughest test of his boxing career so far and fans will be eagerly anticipating the fight on October 29 to see just how far the YouTuber can go in his boxing career.
