AEW Grand Slam is setting up to be a stacked card at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City as the AEW World Tag Team Championships will be on the line.

Last Sunday saw AEW fan favourites The Acclaimed take on AEW World Tag Team Champions Swerve In Our Glory at ALL OUT.

The crowd were split at the beginning of the bout, but as it progressed, it was clear that the fans wanted new champions in The Acclaimed as chants filled the arena in their favour. The Chicago crowd even booed Swerve In Our Glory in parts.

Caster and Bowens had everyone on the edge of their seat, hitting numerous signature moves. Caster even picked up Lee and slammed him down.

However, the match ended with Swerve and Keith Lee hitting the Spirit bomb, assisted by the stomp, to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

The effort of The Acclaimed and how close they came to retaining the titles saw Tony Khan confirm that Bowens and Caster will have another shot to put gold around their waist in two weeks.

A segment on last night's Dynamite saw Caster and Bowens about to do a rap, but they were instantly interrupted by Swerve, who got major heat from the Buffalo crowd.

Bowens and Caster proclaimed that in two weeks, they will take the AEW World Championships, intensifying the storyline between the two as the rivalry begins to depict Swerve In Our Glory as potential heels, just with how over The Acclaimed are.
