MMA legend Nate Diaz is scheduled to be fighting for potentially the very last time inside the world-famous UFC octagon in the main event of UFC 279, but what time is the fighter likely to be heading to the cage for fans in the UK to watch?

Diaz will be facing Tony Ferguson in a last-minute change to the card, as Khamzat Chimaev missed weight ahead of the Welterweight contest, and ‘Borz’ will now be facing Kevin Holland in the co-main event of the night in a Catchweight bout.

Ironically, Diaz vs Ferguson is actually a contest that fans have been hoping to see for quite some time, as a master of the BJJ rubber guard versus a master of the BJJ traditional guard will finally be colliding inside the cage!

As confirmed by the official UFC website, the Main Card for the UFC 279 is expected to be starting at 3:00 AM BST on Sunday, September 11th 2022.

As noted, Diaz will be in the main event of the Main Card against Ferguson, so we’re anticipating that he will be making his way to the octagon between 4:30 AM BST and 5:30 AM BST on Sunday, September 11th 2022.

It’s worth noting that this is just an estimate, as due to the nature of combat sports this time might be pushed back due to the length of the other contests on the Main Card, Prelims and Early Prelims.
