Nate Diaz is an absolute gift to the sporting world.

His exploits in the Octagon apart, the antics outside of it are worth their weight in gold. The latest of those is his opinion on Dwayne Johnson’s new shoe line, which is actually in partnership with Dana White's UFC.

Despite that fact, Diaz was less than complimentary about the shoes, unlike the rest of his fighting colleagues, who were all praising them in a promotional video.

Unsurprisingly, Diaz's brutal reaction didn't make the cut, but footage has since emerged showing just how he really feels about them.

The Rock has recently joined hands with Under Armour to launch an amazing new training shoe, which has been met with plaudits elsewhere.

However, Diaz seems to have a different view and he made his feelings known over the weekend at UFC 279.

He chose his interview to let his thoughts be known, and boy was he expressive.

He said: “These shoes f****** suck! Look at these shoes. They made me put this s*** on. F*** these shoes!”

UFC fans laugh at Diaz's reaction

Unsurprisingly, the clip of Diaz reacting to the new shoes has gone viral and fans are absolutely loving his brutal honesty, especially considering his complimentary other fighters had been... whether they really meant it or not.

'Never change Nate' and 'Nate has that “last day at work” energy' were just two responses to the clip.

'Everyone else is playing their part… Not Diaz though,' highlighted the fact the other UFC fighters were being complimentary to the shoes.

Nate Diaz vs The Rock

It’s not the first time Diaz has had such a brutal choice of words for The Rock.

The WWE legend was on the receiving end when he presented the BMF belt to Jorge Masvidal following his win over Diaz back in 2019.

”F*** The Rock too, man,” Diaz said.

“That motherf***** over here playing me. See him over here smiling with Masvidal. Should have had Mike Tyson handing out a belt if anybody. I don’t give a f*** about any belt anyway, but he can get it too.”

Obviously, The Rock was more measured in his response to Diaz.

He said: “I wasn’t surprised at Nate’s comments because that’s the Nate Diaz that we all know and love. He is as advertised. Nate, he gets it.

"He knows that me and Jorge, we’re boys, we’re from Miami. We have a lot of deep connections down there. A lot of the fighters we know, a lot of the coaches and trainers that we know, a lot of the gyms that we’ve been to down there. So there’s a connection, so no I was totally fine with it. He gets it.”

Very balanced. We could nonetheless do with The Rock vs Diaz. Make. It. Happen.
