WWE returned to the UK for a pay-per-view event for the first time in three decades, with the Welsh crowd at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff treated to an absolute classic night of action.

We saw the likes of Edge take to the ring for potentially the last time on the island as well as classic title matches for home favourites Sheamus and Drew McIntyre.

The organisation really put on a massive spectacle for UK fans, including two events with The Undertaker, talking about his life in the ring and opening up to those in attendance. Thankfully, the WWE have released behind the scenes photos from the evening, giving fans even more content on a historic night.

Roman Reigns backstage

A cold photo of Roman Reigns returning backstage with his title was released in black and white, with the event on the TV next to him. You can see the defeated Drew McIntyre still in the ring, soaking up the home atmosphere as he fell just short of being the first man for two years to dethrone The Tribal Chief.

Edge and Rey Mysterio

The former Tag-Team champions were snapped together in high spirits with Edge winning what is likely to be his last ever match on these shores against The Judgement Day, although Rey Mysterio and Edge were attacked by Dominik Mysterio who turned heel.

Edge and Bret Hart

Two icons of the WWE were seen talking to each other backstage on the night, with Bret Hart in attendance, it clearly was a huge night for the organisation and proved to us why the show needed to return for a PPV event in the UK.

Roman Reigns and Tyson Fury

Boxing icon Tyson Fury was present at the event, punching Theory to the ground and then congratulating Roman Reigns in the ring. He then joined Drew McIntyre for renditions of American Pie and Sweet Caroline.

The Gypsy King was snapped backstage next to a huge wall mounted dragon, with the pair looking to be enjoying their conversation, probably rehearsing their beautiful duets.

Tyson Fury was brought in for WWE Clash at the Castle

The Undertaker

The Undertaker is arguably the greatest WWE Superstar of all time, and after his recent retirement and induction into the Hall of Fame, he was given a show to do, talking to his fans in Wales about his life and experiences. His popularity saw the show sell out and a second added to supply the demand for The Deadman. He was snapped ringside looking pensively at his old stomping ground where he dominated so many champions.
