Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua looks set to finally go ahead with AJ’s camp stating they have accepted the terms on the table from Frank Warren and The Gypsy King.
After losing to Oleksandr Usyk, it looked as though AJ’s chance at a title shot were over for the foreseeable future, with Fury taking the Ukrainian on in an undisputed bout.
However, Usyk now wants time away from the sport, with the fight likely to happen next year, which could still be an undisputed clash if the WBC champion betters AJ to keep his title.
AJ accepts
According to news breaking coming from his camp this morning, Joshua has accepted the terms to the fight, with talkSPORT's Michael Benson sharing the news on social media.
He tweeted: “Anthony Joshua has now accepted all terms to fight Tyson Fury on Dec 3rd, his management company 258MGT have confirmed. This was agreed on Friday. They added: 'Due to the Queen’s passing, it was agreed to halt all communication. We are awaiting a response.'â€
It finally looks to be going ahead with the full official announcement surely only a matter of days away now, potentially after the Queen’s funeral as both parties clearly want to respect the mourning period the country is in.

Fury had claimed that a 60-40 split of the fight purse was offered to Joshua, which was much more than he'd be offering to anyone else in that situation. Fury is desperate to prove himself once and for all as the best British fighter around.

What happens now?
An official announcement will be made, with the pair going head-to-head in the biggest heavyweight clash British boxing has seen in decades, with the winner likely to receive an undeniable icon status in the sport.
If Fury wins then he will continue as planned to fight Usyk next year in an undisputed clash in the heavyweight division, something we haven’t had since 2002 when Lennox Lewis reached the pinnacle of the division.

However, if Fury was to lose to Joshua, then that would throw his plans up in the air and a rematch would likely take place. The fact he is willing to put his title on the line despite the undisputed heavyweight bout on the cards shows us how confident he is.
We're still waiting to hear official confirmation from Fury's side, but that is surely on its way, he's the one that wanted to make the fight and initiated talks, laying down the offer for AJ.
