The release date for FIFA 23 is just around the corner and fans are continuing to predict the ratings for the best players in the world.

EA Sports have already revealed the top 23 men’s players on FIFA 23 Ultimate Team this year, but women’s football fanatics are still eagerly awaiting the release of female player ratings.

The historic decision to add the Women’s Super League and Division 1 Féminine was announced back in July, with Chelsea star Sam Kerr starring on the cover.

GiveMeSport Women have already predicted the best starting XI and the top strikers in the game.

Now, it’s time to predict which midfielders will be the highest rated:

10) Jordan Nobbs (Arsenal) - 81

The Arsenal icon has been one of the best players in the WSL for years but continues to be criminally underappreciated by many.

Nobbs has struggled with injuries throughout her career, but when fit she is a commanding presence for the Gunners in central midfield.

9) Jessie Fleming (Chelsea) - 82

Fleming helped Canada win gold at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 and featured in all but one league game for Chelsea last season.

The 24-year-old struggled for game time at the Blues initially but has now become an integral part of Emma Hayes’ side.

8) Sara Däbritz (Lyon)  - 83

Däbritz scored eight league goals and registered nine assists for PSG last year.

However, the German star, who started the Euro 2022 final against England, has now moved to rivals Lyon.

7) Daniëlle van de Donk (Lyon) - 84

Van de Donk previously starred for Arsenal in the WSL, before moving to Lyon in 2021.

Though she was injured for much of last season, the 31-year-old has won more than 130 caps for the Netherlands and remains one of the best midfielders in the world.

6) Guro Reiten (Chelsea) - 85

Reiten scored just one goal during the 202/21 league campaign for Chelsea.

However, the Norwegian registered 12 goal contributions in the WSL last year –– operating in a number of different positions.

5) Grace Geyoro (PSG) - 86

Geyoro showcased her class at Euro 2022 and scored a hat-trick for France against Italy.

The PSG star is still only 25 and will only continue to get better.

4) Ella Toone (Man United) - 87

Toone has arguably become United’s most integral player and finished last season with the joint-most assists in the WSL.

The 23-year-old playmaker also starred for England at Euro 2022 and scored a stunning chip in the final against Germany.

3) Fran Kirby (Chelsea) - 88

Kirby has tended to operate more as a forward in the past, but she is also capable of playing in the No.10 role, much like Toone.

The Chelsea star was the WSL Player of the Year for the 2020/21 campaign and has already cemented herself in Women’s Super League folklore.

2) Delphine Cascarino (Lyon) - 89

The 25-year-old made her Lyon debut way back in 2015 and has featured for the French club more than 100 times.

Considered one of the fastest players in world football, the midfielder has won three Women’s Champions League titles and three Division 1 titles with Lyon already.

1) Catarina Macario (Lyon) - 90

The USA have produced some of the game’s best-ever players and Macario is well on course for greatness.

Still only 22, the Brazilian-born American was snapped up by Lyon from Stanford and has dazzled since her arrival.

Last season, Macario scored 14 goals and registered five assists as Lyon secured yet another league title.
