Roman Reigns' run as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion is said to be creating a "complex" issue for Triple H.

A new report has emerged, courtesy of the ever-reliable WrestleVotes, which has given some insight into WWE's mindset regarding Roman's reign as double-champion.

Essentially, it seems like the issue is that WWE wants two World Champions, but doesn't want Roman to lose anytime soon, creating a rather difficult situation.

What does WWE want to do with Roman Reigns now?

As noted, WrestleVotes is reporting that WWE wants to have two World Champions heading into WrestleMania 39, which takes place on the first weekend in April next year.

However, the issue is that, as you can see from the report below, higher-ups are against the idea of Roman losing any time soon, meaning the titles can't really be taken off him.

The aforementioned report goes on to explain that Head of Creative Triple H is often to any ideas to help him get out of the "complex" situation that he has been placed in right now.

This is in line with a report that was published from WrestlingNews.co last week, which claimed that Roman won't be losing, unless plans change, until after WrestleMania 39 in April 2023.

The report, which you can read more about by clicking here, claims that WWE is opposed to Reigns losing a match, and subsequently his titles, before he faces The Rock next Spring.

WWE's upcoming plans for Roman Reigns

As noted, the plan for WrestleMania 39 remains for Roman to defend his title(s) against his real-life cousin, The Rock, according to recent reports from the Wrestling Observer.

The match was something that ex-WWE Chairman Vince McMahon wanted to do for several years, and despite his retirement, it seems like that idea has carried over.

Given The Rock's name value and star power, it's not that surprising to hear that Triple H is still pretty intent on booking the match.

As for that WWE is going to have the 37-year-old do before then, recent reports again from the Wrestling Observer indicate that he's going to miss Extreme Rules next month, before returning at Crown Jewel in November.

The plan, at least as of right now, is for Reigns to defend his titles in Saudi Arabia on November 5, but the match won't be against either Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins, which you can find out more about by clicking here.
