Seth Rollins has revealed that he was left angered by a recent booking decision made by fellow former WWE Champion Triple H.

Since becoming Head of Creative for WWE, Triple H has earned almost universal praise for the work he's done making Raw and SmackDown shows more enjoyable.

However, top WWE Superstar Seth Rollins has suggested that not everyone is happy with every decision that the 53-year-old has made.

What did Triple H do to angry Seth Rollins?

In one of his first acts as Head of Creative, Triple H took Rollins' match with Matt Riddle off the card for SummerSlam.

The word from WWE was that the match had to be postponed due to an injury to Riddle, but reports from Fightful Select at the time revealed that he was actually completely healthy.

So, why didn't Rollins v Riddle happen at SummerSlam? Well, Fightful also reported that Triple H wanted to give the match some more heat, so decided to take it off the card for the show on July 30.

The decision was instead made to have the pair do battle at Clash at the Castle on September 3, meaning Triple H had four weeks to make the feud more heated, which he did.

The segments on Raw between Riddle and Rollins between SummerSlam and Clash at the Castle were highly praised, making the eventual match between the two feel hotter.

How did Seth Rollins react to being left off the card for SummerSlam?

After the initial shock, many fans eventually agreed with the decision that Triple H made, and so did Seth Rollins, but he's now revealed that he was initially quite unhappy with 'The Game' for making the call.

Speaking on the Out of Character podcast with Ryan Satin, Rollins explained that he wasn't best pleased when he was told that he wouldn't be competing at SummerSlam, via WrestleTalk.

I was not happy with that and how that played out... I understood in the long game of kind of why the decision was made to move my match off the show, but I still have a chip on my shoulder all the time.

Rollins went on to explain that he feels like he's competing "at such a high level right now", so understandably didn't want to be left off one of WWE's biggest shows of the year.

I still think I’m competing at such a high level right now. I felt very slighted and I wasn’t about to let anybody but me control that narrative and so I felt bad, but I had to do what I had to do.

Reports from PWInsider that emerged last night stated that Rollins will now enter a feud for the United States Championship, which kicked off during last night's episode of Monday Night Raw.
